Electric vehicles have spurred lots of conversation surrounding safety and reliability, but experts say it's not as simple as being totally more or less safe than a gas car.
That's because new research finds that while EVs are usually safer for those in the car, they could pose greater risks for other drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
