The country's largest grocery chain is introducing an entirely new food brand in hopes to encourage shoppers to buy more. 

Walmart announced its new store brand, Bettergoods, today. The premium food line will include curry chicken empanadas, plant based white cheddar style mac and cheese, as well as 300 other items.

Expert planning tips for staying safe while hiking this summer

A new study is sparking up some concerns around the health risks that marijuana may pose to not only teens, but also seniors. 

Researchers found after Canada legalized weed, the number of emergency room visit for cannabis poisoning skyrocketed among people who are 65 and older. 

For a closer look, KCBS Radio's Patti Reising was joined by Dr. Nathan Stall, Geriatrician at Mount Sinai Hospital and researcher at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. He is the lead author of the study.

While many believe one way to combat hypertension, which affects more than half of adults in the US, is to work out, it's really the framework around the exercise that matters.
