Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced today a pact that pledges mutual aid if either country faces aggression against either country. 

This comes after a historic visit, where Putin traveled to North Korea for the first time in 24 years, signaling a new era in the relations between the two countries.
