Kenya is set to receive $1.2 billion U.S. Dollars from the World Bank aimed to address fiscal pressures and promote inclusivity and green growth.

The funding has been agreed amid an improved macroeconomic environment, following government efforts to address liquidity pressures, depressed investor confidence and limited capital inflows that had resulted in a rapidly depreciating shilling.
