New data suggests that 15 to 20 per cent of the population may be neurodivergent - up from estimates of 5 to 10 per cent just five years ago. Neurodivergent describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works.
That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences. This shift highlights the need for employers to broaden their diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to encompass neuro-inclusion.
