Trust Her is an initiative of the nonprofit Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), and along with Parkland Health they are deploying a new mobile unit. It's dedicated to enhancing access to family planning and women’s health services in Dallas. The Women’s Wellness Mobile Unit will be stationed at Dallas College campuses throughout the county.

How is Parkland Health working to better women's health?

Travel agents are still using the phrase, "revenge travel" to describe the number of people that want to go somewhere out of town for summer vacations. This year's Fourth of July could be the most traveled weekend ever with almost 71 million people going somewhere for the holiday that falls on a Thursday this year. That's 5% more than last year and 8% more than five years ago. Daniel Armbruster from AAA Texas joined the Ask the Expert on Thursday.

How many people will travel for the Fourth of July?

Labeling is on a lot of things we might consume... our food, alcohol, tobacco... social media. Well not yet... but U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy called on Congress today to pass legislation mandating warning labels on social media sites.

He claims social media is associated with significant mental health harms for adolescents. And suggests a surgeon general’s warning label, which requires congressional action, would regularly remind parents and adolescents that social media has not been proved safe.

Dr. Ken Jones is the Behavioral Health Clinical Officer for Texas Health Resources. He joined the KRLD Afternoon News to discuss whether or not this could make a notable impact on people's health.
